Glogster

  1. I love your Glog, Liz! I really like the sequence of 3 photos you chose; they create a powerful statement without using any words. There is so much audio/video media available from 9-11, but I think what you chose to include is appropriate to the idea of "We Will Never Forget."

  3. I really like the topic you picked and the way you decided to present it. Since we've been discussing in our classes, 9/11 is some what unknown to most of our practicum students and our future students may be even further removed from an understanding of it. Your presentation is very simple and clean, but it says a lot and has a very loud statement. Great job.

  4. What a Great Glog!! Like Angie said, the three images that you picked are really get the point across. They are so much more powerful than lots and lots of text. Your Glog is really well organized!

  5. i am so glad you chose to do 9/11 especially since we have learned that many students don't fully understand the gravity of that day. Your glogster is phenomenal.

  6. I agree with a lot of the comments that this is a really simple, yet powerful presentation. Mine is very cluttered (and hopefully good), but yours does an excellent job of using powerful imagery and video.

And I always get a little emotional seeing 9/11 videos.

  7. I love to ponder the power of the historical events that have taken place in this time of media availability. How will that change the way students of the future view history? When your students create media, tributes, or cautionary tales, they create something that lives on forever. What a powerful activity!
